Between The Beats: Motor City Drum Ensemble (by Resident Advisor)
What a journey it has been for this burgeoning team. From their early days at EGG, to their first ever warehouse party, it has been a whirlwind of fantastic events that has created the excellent reputation that rhythmatic has today.
Back in 2009 they hosted an event at Hewett Street Car Park. Bringing to London, for the first time ever, two artists who are defining house music; Matthias Tanzmann and Davide Squillace. The pair played back to back to a rapturous crowd creating a benchmark for future parties.
Since their move from clubs into the warehouse scene they have put on many events and played host to a plethora of international DJ’s including Marco Carola (first ever appearance at a London Warehouse), Father and Sons, Rhadoo, Luca Bachetti, Promiesku (UK Debut) and on the 19th October, rhythmatic will be curating their biggest event to date! Bringing together for the first time in the capital, two very diverse artists to celebrate their 6th Anniversary.
19th October 2013 // 10PM – 6AM
@ TBA East Location
The 1st headliner making a debut appearance for rhythmatic, is Moritz von Oswald. Half of both Basic Channel and Maurizio, he has become one of the most influential producers of techno music in the 1990s, bringing his rhythms and sounds from Berlin.
The 2nd headliner is already part of the long list of great artists that have appeared at rhythmatic; Petre Inspirescu, who has long been a prolific figure alongside his frequent accomplices Rhadoo and Raresh. His DJ sets are as sonically baffling as they are irresistibly groovy; as a producer, his tracks are as unhinged as they are methodical. He equally owns the label [a:rpia:r], with Rhadoo and Raresh.
The rhythmatic duo can proudly say that this will be the ONLY warehouse appearance for both artists in London this year!
I strongly suggest that get your tickets sooner rather than later if you would like to be part of this amazing journey…
